Humans are pretty vocal when it comes to our tangible needs of luxury and subsistence. But people seldom hear their innate craving of beating depression and the monotony of a hassled life. This idea is not self-perceived, I have accurate stats that back my views—80% of depressed people currently do not undergo any treatment. And depression is looming as a serious threat to humans; 12 years hence depression would be as dreadful as heart diseases. So before the world hears the death knell because of this silent assassin, Hanness Seeberg identified this area and thought of making a sports brand barge into a field where medical folks have had a major share. He thought of a premium brand like Nike who has not tested such waters before, but yet has the potential to do full justice to it. After having churned the design mills, he came up with the Nike FeelFree Headset concept, which will shape the brain activity into a desired state. The headset will equip a person to fight with mental problems and take the sail smoothly in the waters of daily chores.
Advanced technology has been pushed in the form of EEG binaural beats and bone conduction that read brain frequencies and change it toward the applied stimulus, without having a side-effect on user’s hearing. With 4 wave profiles—Meditation, Focus, Learn, Sleep to choose from, it looks we’ve taken a major leap as humans, for this concept lets us gain a substantial control over our intelligence-fueling tool.

The Nike FeelFree Headset has got many virtues in its kitty, ranging from improving learning and creativity skills to dwindle stress levels. Mental and emotional health will change for the better and levels of concentration and clarity of thoughts will see a vertical rise. There will be frequent occasions when you would want to use this headset. Conditioning your mind for upcoming stressful situations and putting one to sleep, along with enhancing awareness and focus skills are the areas where it will prove fruitful.
“Human minds… Here we come” could be the tagline for this concept. What say you?

Wow, this is a rather interesting concept coming from an athletic clothing manufacturer.
This sounds like a Great idea & it would expand Nike’s reach into the technological age. Giving them a firm footstep into a totally different market for future expansions.
I might have to actually purchase one of these just to test it out. :)
Hey Eric, it is definitely a new platform where a sports brand like Nike can push its product frontier to garner consumer favoritism...
I jus hope the day is not far when Nike would unleash this product world-wide..
