Sprint is descending EV-DO Revision A Novatel S720 Card at the end of the year, for the expansion and evolution of the Sprint Power Vision(SM) network. Novatel Merlin S720 is PC card ready for the new network also can work with current EV-DO rev. 0. This upgraded EV-DO allows users to access audio, video and data applications with compatible laptops and connection card devices. Users will get faster speed of 400 to 700 kbps (2 Mbps peak) that in return procures music on demand, high speed video messaging and telephony and large file uploads.
Sprint is aiming to reach more than 200 million people in the U.S. with a variety of EV-DO Revision A compatible devices, starting first with connection cards offered in PCMCIA Type II, USB, and ExpressCard form factors.PRICE-US$249.99.
