Next Generation Computing Show 2006 focuses on Wearable Technology
The 'Next Generation Computing Show 2006' held in Korea had a keen focus on wearable technology. Technology that you can wear on your body and become 'Super Humans' rather than Humans.
There were all types of wearable gadgets that human can wear on them like for trendy girls there was a sexy sports-bra-design 'bio-shirt' that can sense her pulse and hear her beat in real time. Her 'nike+iPod' running shoes can measure the amount of exercise. An earring monitors biorhythm and the health status.
The show also displayed how the soldiers will look in future as there was a wearable computing device that will enable the soldiers to deliver various kinds of commands with each other fast and accurately in the midst of a raging battle field.
In the show, Bluebird Soft presented a wearable barcode reader that is Bluetooth based and can be worn on ones hand.
