Like fashion repeating itself– New Zealand Post will reinstate the use of telegram service. The Post had ended the service in 1999, as there was no customer demanding its use due to the popularity of text messaging and emails.



The new service, however, are more advanced and don’t always end with STOP, says Terese Tunnicliffe, New Zealand Post’s general manager of payment services. This modern telegram is being used by businessmen for quick transfer of messages to their clients...it is primarily used for debt collection.
