New Motion Control Sensor in Sharp's 904SH phone
The new Motion Control Sensor developed by Aiichi Steel Corporation as they claim is the world's smallest 6-axis sensor on a single semiconductor chip. The new sensor adds up a "3D directional acceleration sensor (3-axis), an A/D converter for converting detected data into digital data for output, a controlling microcomputer, and an internal sensor for temperature compensation, all on one unified chip," informs Slashphone. The motion control system is able to measure up the handset position in 3D and along with directional acceleration.
