Hate having to sort the trash into categories and sub categories? Everybody does. But a team of scientists at AeroThermal have developed a machine that can not only sort out your waste, but can also make it recyclable and reusable. The astounding invention is called Autoclave and apparently, it can even produce enough energy to sustain itself while it separates the waste on a large scale. The system, which acts like a giant steam-powered pressure cooker, can clean all steel and aluminum, reduce plastics to recyclable pellets, make glass reusable and turn the food and organic waste into biogas that can be converted into green energy to power the machine. What’s even better is that the machine recaptures and reuses the steam produced during the process so you are left with virtually no emission! And since the Autoclave takes only two hours to sort through 30 tonnes of municipal waste in just under tow hours, the cost of transporting the waste to far-off waste management plants can be greatly reduced. Just keep your fingers crossed and maybe your local municipal corp will get one very soon too!

New machine can sort household trash automatically

Comments
The machine looks huge like a big truck. Hope we soon will have something smaller which can help sort our household trash automatically in our very own homes.
Definitely not household friendly.
