Joining the burgeoning brigade of iPod playing gizmos is the new Kenwood iPod dock AS-IP300 which features active speaker system for top quality audio experience. Compatible with 3G iPod Nano and 4G iPod photo/mini/classic, the AS-IP300 comes fully equipped with a remote control which lets you fast forward or replay songs from your pod. A stereo mini-audio input lets you hook other players up with the system as well. Measuring 5cm full range the speaker has an amplifier output is 1.9W×2ch along with a neodymium magnet driver that facilitates natural surround sound. Available in either black or white, the speaker can last for 8 hours (OFF 3-D sound) on a full charge using an AC adapter or 4 AA batteries. The 380 × 221 × 157mm system weighs 1.2 kgs and is expected to retail for 15,000Yen when it hits stores later this month.
