Tired of jugglers, magicians, flamenco dancers, puppet shows and fortunetellers? Hate the huge human teddies and their all-smiling faces and continuous wave of hands? Want to try a more memorable and exhilarating experience? Then International Robotics has something for you to consider. It’s their new half-human and half-machine electronic robotics costume. Named Show-Bot, when clad by a human performer can promise a great show.
This hottest invention from International Robotics, a visage of the future robots (may be the image of robots that are fictious now!) though not completely automatic, looks quite promising. The electronic robotic suit ensures taken care of the viewers’ as well as the wearers’ comforts.
Show-Bot has been designed for easy movement in crowded places and with the help of self-balancing motorized wheelbase, the wearer can move without problem. The suit is 30 inches wide and weighs almost 300 pounds, which excludes the wearer’s weight. There are four fans attached in various places in the suit to keep the performer cool. It is equipped with a 40 GB hard disk, microphone, 250 watt four speaker surround system, video camera and a large 10.5 inch LCD video screen to broadcast what is captured in the camera.
The costume also has multicolored lights and surround sound to create the all-pervasive theatrical experience.
