In a move that will certainly make other notebooks see green, Apple Inc.’s existing MacBook and MacBook Pro notebooks will go in for major design changes. Apple is heading in the direction of green, environmentally friendly notebooks. Of the two, the 13-inch consumer MacBooks will undergo a major makeover, trading plastic enclosures for ones constructed from more eco-friendly materials such as aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel. Another interesting development will be the change in look. For those of us who actually like the Apple’s iMAC look, we will have to wait and see whether the design makes the new notebooks, fall in line with the other notebooks in the market. While Apple’s distinctive look added to its uniqueness, its also true that a more slender design will make it more attractive to those who stayed away from its iMAC avatar.
