Next Generation Tech, Inc has launched a new X-Gene wireless keyboard, the PN-01030. The company headquartered at the City of Industry, CA, has launched its new product of the X-Gene brand, which could be any couch potato’s dream.

The 2.4GHz wireless keyboard is equipped with optical trackball that commands at a distance of up to 45 feet.

The unit is Mac, Windows XP media centre Edition and Widows Vista Premium compatible. A space saving trackball allows 360-degree navigation. The Radio Frequency technology used by the wireless keyboard is superior to the Infrared technology used by most wireless keyboards, because you do not have to point directly to the host computer. The keyboard could be easily operated through the closed doors, walls and other obstacles.

There are eight Media Centre hotkeys for easy access to the Internet, TV or radio programmes located at the bottom of the unit. A 14-key remote control allows users to operate any connected media from across the room.

The space saving 800-DPI, 360-degree navigation cab ability optical trackball eliminates the requirement of having a flat surface to operate the mouse.

The unit is lightweight and ergonomically designed making it easy to hold and operate.
