New 17-Inch AMD Turion 64 Laptops from Rock

UK-based laptop manufacturers, Rock, has launched the Quaddra T64. The system integrates AMD's Turion 64 processor and a 17-inch X-Glass LCD screen.

The Quaddra T64 comes with a choice of CPUs that runs at either 1.8GHz or 2.4GHz.
The Quaddra T64 includes ATI's Mobility Radeon X700 graphics chipset with 256MB of dedicated graphics. It is also equipped with a 1.3-Megapixel Web camera, and claims are being made that the battery lasts for 3.5 hours.
A digital TV tuner is also available as an extra option. The bluetooth and 802.11b/g Wi-Fi wireless networking is the standard one.
The Quaddra T64 is much thinner and lighter than previous Rock 17-inch laptops at just 35mm.
The Quaddra prices start from £899.
