Neutron-Scatter Camera to peep behind walls
Prototype neutron-scatter camera, amazingly capable of detecting almost any radioactive material in its field of view, is going through calibration at several locations. The so called 'neutron-scatter' came to existence behind the walls of Sandia National Laboratories. It surpasses the limitations faced by the traditional gamma ray-based handheld detectors and detects the matter even if it's hidden behind layers of shielding such as cargo container or other packing boxes.

The device works by using an array of orthogonal sensors to observe neutrons in 3D space at a classified distance. This one especially strengthens domestic port security system, which will now become more trustworthy as incidences of false alarms will not consume attention as well as time of security officials.
