There isn’t a limit to the kind of weaponry US has access to, another addition to the tactile air drones is the Neptune. Developed by DRS Technologies, it’s an Maritime Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (MUAV) that takes to the horizons, and recovers on both the land and sea and can be transported compactly and launched quickly. Drawing power from a two-stroke, 15 horsepower engine, when in flight, the unmanned vehicle can take off without a runway and features collapsible wings for easiest storage.

With able sensors onboard to recognize humans from a distance of about 1 1/2km and from about 600 to know what they are doing, the six feet vehicle can hover in the air for good 3 1/2 hours and with its built-in receiver tubes, it slide onto its launch rails of the transport container from where it can take off in just minutes.
Having a wing span of seven feet, and weighing in at about 135 pounds, the UAV boasts an operational range of about 50 nautical miles and enjoys a great landing speed and also drops to the surface with a parachute in recovery.
