Super Thin Bendable Battery from NEC
Posted By: Vikas Shekhawat | Dec 26 2005
NECs super thin 0.3mm and 0.012-inch bendable battery is first of its kind. Built with organic materials it'll only take 30 seconds to re-charge. Its cathode is made of organic radical polymer assuming an electrolyte-permeated gel state, therefore making it flexible. The 'intelligent paper', as NEC calls it is environmentally friendly, containing zero heavy metals.

This is what we call teamwork. You work on designs; I'll make chips more compact and let people at NEC and the like compress batteries to make the perfect 'electronic pills' we are looking for.
