NEC's MultiSync LCD6520: The 65-inch giant LCD display
NEC Display Solutions of America has proudly launched the grand daddy of all LCD displays. The 65-inch MultiSync LCD6520 LCD display is the largest commercial-grade display to surface on the horizon of technology.
The new entrant is fully loaded with technologically advanced features and is considered as a turning point in the history of digital signage solutions. Equipped with the company's digital signage technology suite (DSTS), the unparalleled system boasts of a screen that eliminates the need for any additional third-party components.
Hans Baumann, Senior Product Manager for NEC Display Solutions, is all praises for the MultiSync LCD6520 as he states the importance of flexibility in today's world. The MultiSync LCD6520 is congenially designed to comply with emerging technologies such as IPTV and at the same time, it is fully compatible with existing small form-factor PCs, media players or additional input configurations.
With a 6-millisecond response time coupled with a 2000:1 contrast ratio, the MultiSync LCD6520 is capable of playing full-motion video in High-Definition 1080p resolution. It also comes with an optional digital TV tuner and 15-watt speakers.
The powerhouse has already started shipping and is priced at $18,499.99 for LCD6520L-AV and $19,999.99 for LCD6520P-AV. The price is a bit on the higher side, but considering the host of features it sounds a profitable deal.
