If we consider present scenario about system-on-glass technology the current LCD module consists pixel-driving chips precisely on the glass with LSI / memory implanted on a “separate board and attached to the module, but this new approach offers rigid cram DRAM, DACs, and other necessary functions on a polysilicon thin film exactly on the glass.

This sample device comes with 1.1-inch TFT LCD display of 160 x 120 pixels and DRAM to store 230-kilobytes on data.

The company is undoubtedly naming it world’s first device of its kind but has made no comments about its price and availability.
