NEC Intros new range of Projectors and Displays

NEC corporation of America has released a new range of Digital projectors and Plasma Displays.

They have released five new projectors and two new 60-inch plasma Displays.

VT Series digital Projectors:

NEC has released five new projectors that are named:

NEC VT49

NEC VT490

NEC VT590

NEC VT595

NEC VT695

The first three projectors feature long lamp life and impressive image quality and are also affordable.

They include PnP setup and operation and a new technology Autosense™ which syncs the projectors with computer signals.

The VT49 is priced at $699, VT490 at $739 and VT590 at $859.

The other two models that are VT595 and VT695 come with additional features such as a powerful five-watt speaker and a variable audio-out which enables the remote comtrol to adjust the volume of the integrated speaker.

NEC VT595 has a price tag of $899 and VT695 is priced at $999.

Along with this good range of Projectors NEC has also introduced two state of the art Plasma Displays, the 60XM5 and 60XR5.

The 60XM5 is a 60-inch plasma display and it boasts a 350% increase in the contrast ratio when compared to the previous model. It has a complete input panel including DVI and HDCP and wider signal support including 1080p and high resolution PC signals.

The display is expected to hit the markets this month and will be priced at $7,999.

Another Plasma display launched is 60XR5 and the main feature of this display is its new power efficient design that makes the display consume only 440W.

The display is now shipping and is priced at $8,999.
