mrus61cThe sky-high demand for portable compact gadgets like mobile phones, notebook computers and electronic devices has ultimately increased the demand for tiny sensors that can occupy less space and enhance battery life.

Keeping it in mind, NEC has developed a new magnetic senor what is said to be the thinnest magnetic sensor in the world.

Measuring barely 0.35 millimeters, the MRUS61C finds its immense applicability in digital devices such as mobile phones, notebook computers, portable game consoles, cameras and other electronic gadgets. It can be used for power-saving and backlight switches of these devices.

The NEC MRUS61C is a compact magnetic sensor. Its width is just 1.0mm and length 1.6 mm. It enables manufacturers to pull out maximum efficiency from their design assets. It comes with leadless packaging. Thus, it does not require mounting space in contrast to other sensors.
