Here is a weapon the Nazi’s tried to develop a long time ago, right in the 1930’s and the 40’s and thankfully, which didn’t see the light of the day. However, let’s take a tour through Nazi history to know what this weapon was all about. The Sun Gun as we now call the weapon was a bizarre experiment that could have been able to destroy the enemy’s bases from space. Yes, you heard it right, the Sun Gun was designed to be a space weapon. The idea was basically to design a giant mirror and put it in orbit around the earth.The mirror itself was to be made up of one million tonnes of sodium and was to be designed to be placed in a gigantic Nazi spacecraft. This mirror was to use the sun’s rays and project it onto the Nazi’s enemy territories on the earth to literally melt everything in it’s sight. Fortunately for us and the earth and unfortunately for the Nazi’s, their empire disintegrated long before all this could be achieved and the earth was safe from such a deadly contraption.
