Amid the latest development to launch humans into space with better facilities and security, NASA the parent organization has awarded a contract to Oceaneering International to develop the Constellation Space Suit System (CSSS). A bold name is backed by a simple twist to technology, which’ll make this space suit the most advanced and astronaut-friendly. It’ll be a single modular space suit developed two primary configurations to live out an astronaut’s entire work schedule, right from the launch to taking up extra-vehicular activity to walking on extraterrestrial soils, with only slight alternation required. Getting down the predicaments associated with multiple suit requirements to ground zero, this single modular suit, the CSSS, which could make its debut in time for the Orion missions in 2015, would be a cheaper and more refined solution.
