The team responsible for this nanotech fibre cloth is Life BEANS (Bio Electomechanical Autonomous Nano System), a collaborative research effort between many universities of Japan. These clothes were recently showcased at the Micromachine/MEMS exhibition at the Big Sight exhibition centre. Integrated with nanotechnology, these dresses look very much like the daily clothes you wear, but the fact is, these are dresses can not only warm you up or cool you down but also turn into an all new electrical gadget altogether.

Life BEANS has used a new fabrication process to add flexible layers of conductive cells within the clothes giving them a new meaning. All you need to do is, activate the built-in nanocells and your entire dress would turn into an electronic device, which can also transfer data.

The new fabrication process can turn the dress into a mobile phone with GPS navigation, record health related data or even exchange data. There are various possibilities for this technology and now it's up to the imaginations of the tech geeks on how they put this to use. You never know soon you could be wearing such a dress.
