Toshiba has launched new embedded devices targeted at mobile digital consumer products like phones and video cameras. The new 32GB NAND Flash memory is being touted as the largest density product released till now and that it complies fully with the standards of e-MMC and eSD. The 32GB embedded devices make use of the 43nm process technology that we have been hearing about all this while. The embed supports standard interfacing and lessens the burden of manufacturers. One could purchase a single-package of NAND Flash memories to solve and support basic control functions for NAND applications. The coolest feature about devices that make use of this embed is that they can store up to 560 hours of music, 4 hours of HD video and 7.3 hours of SD video. One could get a taste of what the NAND Flash memory devices feel like in September probably.
