MyLifeBits to substitute for a Back up brain...
Everyone of us thinks that we should have a back up brain where we can store our everyday living and can also read it when in need.
Computer Engineer Gordon Bell, a researcher at Microsoft Corp. has done just that and is designing a device called MyLifeBits for the past five years at Microsoft.
There are two parts of the project, one is a device having tons of storage capacity which can easily store each and every bit of information about a person's life. And the second part of the project focuses on developing software that would support this lifetime library on anyone's computer.
Once this project is ready, you will be able to recall each and every memory of your college days, and the photographs of your first crush and every thing which you think should remain with you for your lifetime...
But the main problems with this device is that it should be highly secure so that no one can use it and gain access to your private information such as your credit card numbers or PIN numbers or anything which you think is highly personal to you.
