Some times if we go down the history books we might find some things that are worth even today.

Here is one such engine that was originally developed by William Lusk in 1948. The motor is a two-wheeled unit that can be attached to a bicycle, a lawn mover or a scooter. The engine delivers a power of 1.5 hp and when used as a lawn mover it can do its job without making any marks on the garden.
You can also attach it to a bicycle or a scooter and can reach speeds up to 25 miles per hour on a highway.
Power is transmitted by a pair of V-belts from the engine to a 7-to-l gearbox taken from a washing machine.
