Tapping fingers to the pulse is steadily become an outdated scenario, with touchscreen technology screening a way ahead for sensitive tech manufacturers. Wacom, one from the fray, which is already familiar amid graphic designers with its pen input tablets, revealed a multi-touch technology product for Windows at WinHEC 2008 Conference.
What’s innovative:
The multi-touch display amalgamates easily with computers, notebooks and other electronic gadgets. Housing a balanced screen size, 200 ppi of resolution, near all device compatibility input, tracks at speeds of 100 feet per second. The multi-touch enhancement is close to 0.5mm on accuracy and can be made to work with battery-free, cordless digital pens from the company itself.
Watch this:
Taking note of the peculiarities and traits posed by the Wacom multi-touch, it would take time for Wacom to integrate its own touch tech into its gadgetry. But we wouldn’t be surprised to see it making its way into multi-touch-capable smartphones and notebooks of the future.
