You really don’t expect the military to build a multi-million-dollar explorer robot only to have its legs made of Legos for shortage of funds. This is why I find the stumps on this DARPA-funded military all-terrain bioroid with Lego legs a little more than hilarious. Designed to take samples and picture of underwater sites, this crab-like crawler represents the latest in cutting edge research technology even though it looks like a product of an over-imaginative child.
