MSI has launched its Mega Book MS-1057, the first Ultra Core Duo in Japan. It’s packed with a T2000 CPU (so a Duo) or a T1000 (a Solo), a 12.1″ 1280×800 screen, HD Audio, 2 DDR2 667 memory slots with 2GB of RAM holding capacity, a DL and RAM DVD burner and ExpressCard. The battery life of the 303×225x26mm 1.9kg compact notebook may disappoint you with 1.5 hours with the 2200mAh battery or of 4 hours with the optional 4400mAh.
