The Chinese can now gloat about the fact that they have successfully broken free from the ‘China Price’ label the world has been looking down upon. MSI has finally bridged the gap between price, functionality and brilliant design. Finished with an ivory glow and weighing just 1.2 kg, the MSI WIND is one fine notebook. The 8.9×10 inch LED backlit screen further accentuates the pretty looks of this desirable gadget. The WIND is powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor, which is just enough for medium-level tasks. The notebook also incorporates a 1.3MP camera, 80GB hard disk and 1GB of RAM. The WIND is also one of the very few laptops with thermal holes for better cooling. The notebook runs on Windows XP and features a mini 17.5mm keypad. No information on the pricing yet, but we can expect MSI to maintain the Chinese reputation in this aspect.
