MSI brings in solar-powered MP3 Mega Player

MicroStar International Corp has launched its first solar-powered, hard drive-equipped MP3 player, which was also showcased at the CeBIT show in Hannover, Germany. The Mega Player 540 is powered by a solar cell fitted onto its back that fuels the battery to give up to eight hours of playback.

The 95 gram 9.5 x 5.2 x 1.7cm player features a 1.8in, 128 x 160 color SuperTwis Nematic display that consumes less power, a 4GB 1inch hard disk, joystick-like control system and support for WMA DRM and MP3. It's also equipped with an FM radio and will entertain you with 320 x 240 videos and photos. Also, you can enjoy the SRS' WOW sound-enhancement technology on board.
