USB drives and MP3 players, or other music players for that matter, have been in harmony, and many designers and firms have therefore played around with their forms over time. Yet, protecting the headphone plug from damage or damaging the unit itself, has been a problem concern for designers. Therefore, this concept from Benjamin Beaugh, which does away with a protective cap or external wire to connect the device to a computer, by providing an USB outlet, also provides for a headphone jack placement to help and prevent stress on the plug and the device itself, which is caused while the MP3 player is in the pocket, makes this MP3 player stand out. The player has nice big control buttons and a small LCD screen to note what track’s playing. Many like me would like the jack placement thing, and others might not like the button and the LCD layout, but then that’s all a matter of taste, isn’t it.
