Motorola Xoom Tablet up for pre-order

Motorola's Wifi only, Android Honeycomb powered tablet, Xoom, is finally up for purchase from Motorola Store. This offer is exclusive for US residents and is available for Verizon. There has been no word about the availability of the other models. This much anticipated device and supposed iPad Killer, has been the talk of the town for quite some time and while many online stores have started the pre-order of the device, it is expected to be launched during the period of next 3-4 months.

Xoom will be available for purchase in Europe in Q2 of this financial year, and will be launched next month in Canada, Taiwan and South Korea. As far as India is concerned, it's speculated launch is in the first week of May. However, if you do not wish to wait for that long, hit ebay.in, and you will find some resellers to purchase it at a price tag of Rs. 38000.
