Motorola is set to join hands with vendors worldwide with materialization of a high-speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) prototype to be used on WCDMA (3GPP Rel5) networks globally with a downlink data rate of up to 14Mbps along with NTT DoCoMo, NEC and Fujitsu. The 2006 conference in Barcelona will see the HDSPA mobile phone prototypes.
