Ashley Norris has peeked deeply inside a few of the latest gadgets that glitter the market. Here, he tries to make sure that you just don’t get blind of the sparkles, that, may be, are feigned.

First he takes on the Motorola L6. The 11mm ultra-thin RAZR alike, surely does not impress with its keys. Also, with poor battery life, a low-end VGA camera and incapacity to play music files repel most of us.

Next come Kodak’s V570. You can check it out here, but mind, the digital camera with a two-lens system deceives you with 5x zoom, which is not true.

Hercules DJ Control MP3 Mixer is loaded with crossfaders, effect buttons and of course, jog wheels. You can hook it to your PC through USB and play with the MP3 files. It costs £80.
