Motorola all set to launch its low cost version of smartphones with dual display features

As we all know Motorola has focused on smartphones using Google's open-source Android mobile operating system. It had released its Motorola Droid as early as in November 2, 2009 using the newest version the OS, Android 2.0. And now continuing on along with that trend, Motorola is all set to launch its low cost series of EX130 and EX232 mobile phones.

The phones will come with a 2.8-inch QVGA (240×320) touchscreen display with a single-line OLED display underneath it. The OLED monochrome ticker will have a 96 x 16 pixels resolution. Other features include a 3.2 megapixel camera with video recording and digital zoom attributes. The camera can capture images up to 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution and will be preloaded with image viewer.

Coming to the memory specs, the phones will have 128MB built-in memory; 64MB RAM memory and they will be integrated with external memory card slot to expand the memory capabilities. The connectivity features will include Bluetooth facilities, overseen by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). The device will also have a microUSB port and 3.5 mm universal audio output, which actually will manage to accentuate upon the range of communication with other external devices.

And lastly according to reports, the EX130 will be a dual-band GSM phone while the EX232 will also support WCDMA. The phones are expected to be in the markets by the first half of this year.
