Motion Computing intros first rugged tablet PCs with Core i7

Intel’s Core i5 and i7 processors are a new rage, while systems have embedded their ingenious tablets were expected to follow, and we hear Motion Computing has proven us right. The company has launched the industry’s first Slate PCs featuring Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors within. Motion Computing has stuffed its Motion C5v and Motion F5v with the said processors. The Motion C5v is a 10.4-in TFT touchscreen-enabled rugged tablet aimed at the medical profession. While the Motion F5v with the same screen type and size is a more consumer oriented tablet aimed at engineering and utilities industries. Claiming great performance and the battery life with stylus available for input, the tablets come with Intel's vPro technology which lets "tablets being used remotely in the field and lock down data stored on stolen or lost devices."
