If you think that the skinny phone you're flaunting in your hands is the end-all of all ultimate things to come, than, you haven't seen anything yet. Cellular phones will go more compact now with the development of a multifunctional 'universal chip' by researchers at the University of California, Los Angeles. The chip will eliminate the use of multiple chips in handsets and other wireless gadgets eventually polishing the edges further and saving space to accommodate more features apart from the ubiquitous Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi.
