MojoPac squeezes your PC into your hand held
MojoPac software can shrink your PC into your hand held (Pocketsize PC, Mobile phones,iPods or a USB drive) which you can always carry.
Even the latest pocket size PC will look like giants. RingCube Technologies Inc. recently unveiled this software, which has the capability to virtually squeeze a PC into a hand held device. MojoPac will mirror the personal settings, appearance and data on your PC. When connected to any computer running on Windows XP, the virtual desktop will run in a window of the underlying PC.
The user can easily shift between the two computing environments. The software works by creating a virtual operating system (OS) that runs the programs users load onto the storage device. RingCube says MojoPac supports any off-the-shelf applications, including PC video games and applications such as Adobe Photoshop or Microsoft Office.
The company says that the content on your MojoPac PC will not be transferred to the host PC thus safeguarding your data. The software requires minimum of 128MB space and can increase or decrease with application that needs to be run on it.
The software can be downloaded free and tested for a period of 30 days, after that if the product is brought within a month of release it will cost$29.99 with three additional licenses of$14.99 each but after this introductory price offer the prices will jump to $49.99 and licenses will cost $24.99 each.
MojoPac will be shown at the DEMOfall 2006 conference, being held this week in San Diego.
