Modular Roombots self-assemble to become furniture for your sci-fi abode

We are in a selfless world of unrealism where robots are the most thought-of entity. Robots have gained access to our living space and will certainly rule our survival, given a few decades in time. My claim perpetuates more, from the ingenuity and characterization of the Roombots by Biorobotics Laborotary, which have been created as autonomous furniture segments capable of roaming around the house, to self-assemble and reconfigure based on how you use them.

These modular robots that also self-repair are made up of building block, i.e. multiple simple robotic modules that can attach and detach depending on the requirements of the house. Being highly versatile and robust against failure, these modular robots autonomously connect with each other to form different types of furniture, e.g. stools, chairs, sofas and tables.

These robots look for each other and then reconstruct themselves to meet user requirements. So how about a day when robots are your portable furniture that you don’t have to move but still have it in order as you want it to be. Hell!! I’m already wondering. Thoughts?
