MIT researchers have developed a lithium-ion battery which is very much different from the ordinary batteries and would shrink your electronic gadgets further. The biggest advantage of these batteries is that they can be adjusted in the microscopic areas of your device to further reduce the size. These batteries feature a custom balance of electrodes to electrolytes and a simple chemical reaction to drive it.
