Mirasol’s MEMs-based reflective full colour display technology has been in news before. However, the demo at Qualcomm's San Diego campus has fished out more irresistible details for the same. It seems that Mirasol’s colored screen can be manufactured in any size, runs on 1mW of power and can run video content too. It means if a device runs on Mirasol, its battery life will be stretched considerably. And, if we believe the news mongers, it is about to hit the markets, as the company aims to roll out some eBook readers by the end of this year and the beginning of 2011. Let, 2013 come and you will see this technology built into iPad multimedia devices too.
