Sure enough success usually leads to spawns. Some replicate the original and market it with a different brand name and some make a few radical changes to the original device and claim the inspired (read copied) design as their own. You wouldn't blame them if they claim co-incidence, would you?

Let us assume, for now, that Mio has had this ace up its sleeve. Yet, we find it hard to ignore the fact that the P360 and P560 PDA phones look like they are the offspring of the current rage - the iPhone. Moreover, a few features resemble the iPod too. Seems like, this phone is a cleverly constructed cross between the two.
Leave the similarities aside, both the Mio PDAs sport a stylus based touchscreen. A secondary joystick and startup buttons do well for contacts. Internet access is through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth will provide for wireless headsets and keyboards. For data storage, the PDA's have SD card slots.
Since these models' only claim to fame is their resemblance to the Apple 'brothers', it is quite natural that very few are looking forward to their release, sometime before the end of 2007. Personally, I have not heard of imitations succeeding. Perhaps, Mio should hire a new set of designers. And it would do well to remember that familiarity breeds contempt.
