Microwaving goes portable with the USB-powered Beanzawave

As I mentioned yesterday, that this world is full of challenges and the only thing your employer is bothered about is efficiency. If that efficiency comes at the cost of skipping your lunch, so be it, for the boss isn’t bothered. This is definitely not the way to be on the job, for sooner or later your health would start suffering and it is therefore inevitable to ignore innovations like the Beanzawave from Heinz, which is staking its claim as the world’s smallest microwave. It feels amazing to know that a microwave can be powered through the USB port on your laptop, rendering you a hot and crisp meal right at your workstation. It means that if you do not have time to go out for lunch, the solution lies right there in front of you.

Currently a prototype, this puny microwave uses a series of mobile phone frequencies that are capable of heating a meal and even cook a few of them in less than a minute's time. The Beanzawave can also function as a great option outdoors as it can be powered by lithium ion batteries. Given the quality of the prototype, we could soon have a production ready version being marketed for an estimated $160.
