Well, before you get all excited about having a wall-sized MS Surface setup in your living room, lemme tell you that the revolutionary new Surface spin-off proposed by Microsoft called TouchWall won’t have the magical device-interaction abilities of the tabletop system. The good thing is the wall uses infrared lasers combined with an infra red camera to turn your wall or any other surface into a giant touchscreen. Which practically means that you’ll still be able to do all the cool stuff you could have done with the Surface. Since the thing only costs a couple of hundred dollars, I’d think that the thing is a potential goldmine for MS and should sell by the truckloads even in the third-world countries whenever good ol’ Bill sanctions its production.
