It seems Microsoft wants to take on Nicholas Negroponte too along with Apple in the ring. You must not expect Microsoft to cool its heels after they failed to influence Negroponte to include its Windows software in the $100 laptop. They are back with their new formula to percolate computing in poor nations. The specialists at Microsoft are into the making of a cellphone that can be hooked with a keyboard and used as a PC, everybody gonna have a cellphone in the future after all.
