Microsoft to showcase HD DVD at E3?

Apparently, as we're expecting owing to the hints given by Bill Gates at CES this year, Microsoft's all set to announce the Xbox 360's external HD DVD drive at E3 on May 10th-12th, LA.

To emerge as winners in the format war, everybody have to do it now to get their share of pie and as far as Microsoft is concerned, it was confirmed by Chris Lewis, Microsoft Regional Vice President for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, that they too are not behind.

Though the Xbox camera would be launch next month, for more glitterati see you at the battlegrounds of E3.
