Where we are busy counting the last breaths of or old desktop, Microsoft Hardware is all set to morph the antique into an advanced tool of the future. The giant is planning to launch industry’s first wireless rechargeable backlit desktop; please don’t ask when.



All we know about this “Ultimate Keyboard” is that it features an ambient backlighting, proximity sensing and 30-feet of range. The backlight ensures impeccable visibility, irrespective of your sitting position, and automatically gets disable whenever you step away saving lot of battery power. The keyboard is designed for lap usage and is loaded with a mouse, Bluetooth connectivity and many media buttons.



Don’t expect to grab this awesome hardware so soon, apparently, Microsoft will tease us for long, as they did before the launch of the origami.
