Microsoft’s Kinect and Windows Phone 7 connection means gesture-controlled phone?

The best thing about Windows Phone 7 is its ability to work with all kinds of portable devices. The OS has been integrated with the Xbox 360 and now, if Kudo Tsunoda is believed, it could find some kind of a connection with the Kinect. Hinting on this, Kudo (one of the fathers of Kinect) told Pocket-Lint that ‘tech used for the latest Xbox 360 accessory could find its way into other devices.’

It's all stuff that you could integrate into a multitude of devices, whether it's phones or it's PC's, or anything that requires some sort of input.

Could this be Microsoft’s way of telling us that something new is in the works, without really opening up on the actual thing? We guess this because Microsoft’s phones have still a lot to prove, and a introduction of gesture-control to mobile phones with an OS as dynamic as the WP7 wouldn’t be a bad idea to impress us.
