The Microsoft’s annual Next-Gen PC Design contest has always enthralled us with sexy innovative designs. And now, they have announced the winners of the competition. We have already shown you some of the nominees for the competition. The $25,000 Chairman’s Award went to the fascinating MADE in China PC designed by John Leung of AARIVE Design which was specifically designed to ‘bring computing closer to the world’s 1.3 billion Chinese.’ The touchscreen device makes use of oddly named “CHOPstylus” used for input. The “blok” PC proposed for use in kindergarten classrooms grabbed the first place in Judge’s Awards category. Other winners were the BulbPC, made to fit inside a normal grommet hole on a desk, and the Zeed+ for the Future PC. The Zhu Fei’s “Light up your Life” snatched the first place in the People’s Choice Award category. Sadly, we won’t be able to see any of these wonderful creations anytime soon.
