Microsoft has joined hands with other computer giants such as AMD, Intel, Lenovo and Infineon Technologies to launch its latest ‘pay-as-you-go’ plan for PC users, especially, in developing countries. The ‘Microsoft FlexGo’ service allows users to buy time on their home computers through prepaid cards and subscriptions.
Microsoft FlexGo has already been tested in Brazil from past one year and will soon be launched in other parts of the world. The computers compatible with the pre-paid FlexGo cards works depending on the time purchased and come with an access code that allows users to buy more time online and refill the bank of available time. Under the program, which is still under trial, consumers will be allowed to possess systems for as long as they want and can sell it further too.
