The much-hyped Microsoft Courier tablet, believed to be the iPad killer, breathed its last before it could see the clear light of day. Quite possibly, as the market for tablet PCs has dwindled (crashed rather), the software giant Microsoft is forced to recant its plans ‘to build such a device at this time.’ So finally, a naught lingers in the commercial pipeline with bleak signs of restitution in near future.

Had Microsoft not ditched its wannabe Courier-carriers, they would have enjoyed a plethora of some most high-tech features, like two multi-touch screens, a stylus and finger touch for input, a 3-megapixel digital camera with 4x zoom, and an inductive charging pad for charging batteries wirelessly.
